Private lessons are essential for the success of a student’s ability. Private lessons not only make the individual better, but also make our band better. These lessons lead to opportunities for the student to attend various honor bands, earn a spot in the All-State Band, and can also boost a student’s opportunity for even more scholarship money. These lessons are highly encouraged, especially by students wishing to participate in the Tupelo High School Wind Ensemble. If a student needs financial help to cover these lessons, scholarship opportunities are available. See Mr. Thrasher for more details on these scholarships.
The following instructors have been approved by the Tupelo Band Directors and are more than qualified to help your student reach a new level in their abilities and musicianship. No matter what level the students are on, these instructors are master teachers who can assist in making the students better players. Please only contact these individuals if you are serious and ready to work hard. We highly recommend that you take advantage of these wonderful educators in our area, as we are very lucky to have these resources.
